Sorting in Excel in ascending or descending order and Custom Sort with data:- We can sort data with two types i.e, Single Column (Ascending order) and Multiple Columns (Custom sort). Single Column Sorting
1. Click on any cell in data you want to sort. Let's we are click on city heading. and go to home tab and click on sort & filter option.

2. We have to click on data heading which you want to sort. Now we have click on City for example

4. Now we see that our data sort in ascending order excel in the city column and other columns have changed also. On the other hand we can also sort in descending order.
